Christine Zhao, Editor-in-Chief
A senior at Jefferson, Christine is in her third year of working on the newsmagazine. As the Editor-in-Chief of Investigations, Christine works with her team to deeply investigate a single topic of interest, leading research efforts for such stories, sometimes in spite of tough resistance. Christine joined tjTODAY because she loves giving light to stories that are unnoticed by others, often bringing novel insight to interesting and complex issues and relationships. In the past, Christine has served as a Team Leader and staff writer. Outside of school, Christine is the president and co-founder of Project Talents, co-director of TJ Peer Tutoring, Captain of the Crew Team, BigSibs Coordinator, Treasurer of the Chinese Honor Society, participates in Project CODEt, and is a class Code() and Writing Center tutor. In her free time, Christine is a varsity cross country runner and rower who enjoys working out, consuming fruit, reading Elena Ledoux on Quora, and doing chores to good music (like actually good music). In college, Christine would like to pursue a career in computer science and journalism.
