Ever think about writing a novel? November is National Novel Writing Month, also known as NANO. The goal is to write 50,000 words in 30 days. If you would like more info, visit www.nanowrimo.org or participate in one of the NANOwrimo write-ins during 8th period with Mrs. Ketchem or during lunch with Mrs. Henry in the TJ Writing Center.

FCPS Student Voice is a new program where anyone can submit their thoughts and opinions on ongoing county-wide issues pertaining to a certain subject. The submissions can be in the form of a video, audio message, photo album, or editorial, and can be credited or anonymous. At the end of the month, the best submissions will be posted on a webpage hosted by FCPS as well as publicized through other mediums.
