In the holiday spirit of giving back, 2021 Class Council is sponsoring a toy drive until this Friday for the pediatric oncology unit at Inova Fairfax Children’s Hospital. This sector of the hospital treats children with cancer and has asked students for donations of toys, books, and games that are both used and new. No matter how small the item, it is guaranteed to make a sick child’s day brighter, so please bring any gifts to the labeled boxes in the Audlob.

Attention juniors! Are you looking for a venue for entering your creative writing? This year’s NCTE Achievement Awards in Writing contest is now open, and we will be nominating TJ candidates after winter break. Dr. Boswell will be offering two information sessions in room 36 for interested students during 8A this Wednesday and 8A on Wednesday, January 9th. Come by to hear what to do, and what has worked well for our students in the past!

The club photo process is changing this year. Clubs who want to be in the yearbook are required to submit their own photo and accurate roster to [email protected] by January 25th. See tinyurl.com/2019ClubPics for more information.
