Here is some more information about this week’s announcements: Attention Juniors! If you are looking for venues in which to enter your creative writing, the NCTE Achievement Awards in Writing Contest is for you! You will enter two pieces of writing: one that represents your best work, and the other in response to this year’s theme: “Why Do I Write?” (#whydoiwrite). Information sessions will be offered during the first week of January or one on one with Dr. Boswell in room 36. Ask your English teacher for a copy of the flier with all the details about your entries if you don’t receive one via Blackboard or Google Classroom. The deadline for entries is Friday, January 24.
