5 easy recipes to make in a time crunch
September 26, 2020
Boredom during quarantine has inspired countless creations in the kitchen. But now that school has started, I’ve found myself having less and less time for cooking. These are the recipes that I’ve still managed to make in the past three weeks – each of them only take a few minutes, so you’ll definitely be able to fit them into your busy schedule!
Mug Cake: This is what I make whenever I’m craving something sweet. I’ve made it more times than I can count, and I can testify that this mug cake recipe actually tastes good. It’s perfectly sweet, moist, and fudgy at the same time. Don’t let the ingredient list scare you - I swear this is one of the most simple mug cake recipes you’ll find! Ingredients: 3 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, ¼ tsp baking soda, 3 tbsp milk, 2 tbsp oil. Mix everything together in a mug and microwave for about 60 seconds. I like my mug cake slightly underdone, so the raw batter doubles as frosting. Enjoy!
