Virtual learning has hindered student connection and the formation of new friendships. Consequently, TJ’s Student Government Association (SGA) conceived an initiative called TJ Small Groups seeking to develop bonds with other students in the virtual setting. The system places students into groups of six to eight others who share mutual interests and hobbies. With two months since its inception, participants of the program shared the success of their small groups.
