News Brief: Jefferson varsity field hockey team loses to Justice

Jefferson’s varsity field hockey team played against Justice High School on Oct. 12. The final score was 1-2.

The Jefferson varsity field hockey team played against Justice High School and had a close loss of 1-2 on Oct. 12, which also happened to be Justice High School’s senior night. The game took an unexpected turn in the last quarter. 

“We really thought we were gonna tie, but they scored in the last quarter,” sophomore Abhigeetha Peri said. 

With a close loss, the Varsity field hockey team has one more game left in the season.
