Jefferson’s varsity volleyball team beat Annandale with a 3-0 victory on Oct. 14.

After a slow start in the first set, the hitters turned things around leading the team to success by the end of the game. Senior Julia Lamy, a setter on the team, is a main contributor to the offense line, so communication is vital between her and other players.

“We never brought ourselves down. We were always very excited, ” Lamy said. “We’re all really good friends; there’s no negativity or bad relationships.”
