Gathering on the field, students observe an unobstructed view of the solar eclipse through protective eyewear. “Around 3:00pm, my friends and I noticed that the temperature noticeably dropped and there were a lot of clouds. The clouds did cover some of the eclipse, but when we put our special glasses on, we got to see it,” sophomore Karan Sadiora said. “A lot of the students were interested in viewing this eclipse, and we were grateful to get that opportunity. We all just stood there amazed.”
