Akhil Waghmare, Webmaster
A senior at Jefferson, Akhil is in his second year of working on the newsmagazine staff. As Webmaster, he oversees all technology components for tjTODAY Online. In the past, Akhil has served as Sports Editor of the print newspaper and a reporter for tjTODAY Online.
Akhil joined tjTODAY because of his love for journalism and previous experience in the subject, having served as Editor-in-Chief for the newspaper of his middle school, Nysmith School. He also enjoys sharing important information with the school community.
Outside of journalism, Akhil is a member of Jefferson’s Varsity Math Team, serves as an Officer for Jefferson’s Physics Team, and runs a mobile app development company, Synapps LLC. After high school, Akhil would like to pursue a career in engineering.
