Angel Kim, Editor-in-Chief
A senior at Jefferson, Angel is in her third year working in the newsmagazine staff. As the entertainment editor, she writes articles for the online and print publications, designs spreads for the print magazine and guides her team through covering stories for the entertainment section. As social media editor in chief, she manages the tjTODAY accounts. In the past, she was a staff reporter and team leader. Angel joined tjTODAY to be involved in current events, and to improve her photography and design. Ever since she watched “Fargo” in middle school, she also has been passionate about movies, for which she now writes reviews. Outside of journalism, she takes computer science, is in the astronomy research lab, and rows for the crew team. In her free time, Angel enjoys Broadway musicals including “Chicago” and “Dear Evan Hansen,” listening to Hippo Campus and Grimes, visiting art museums and photography. After high school, Angel hopes to pursue a career in the film industry.
