He is an avid reader of fantasy and historical fiction and he has a strong passion for all things music. He loves to illustrate the musical side of Jefferson the most. His favorite activities include watching live sports, playing soccer, and playing his guitar and violin.

Where there would usually be items overflowing out of cubbies from all the students, there is just one or two visible backpacks in this teacher’s class. “I stayed home because so many other people were staying home. I thought it was better to stay home than to risk my life,” said freshman Marie Dobbyn.

Welcoming everyone back with a flurry of spirit, the Jefferson cheerleaders hype up the spectators for the back to school bash. We talked to freshman varsity cheerleader Iryne Jackson to have a look into how the girls felt as a team. “At first, I was intimidated by the team, especially since only three other freshmen were trying out for varsity cheer,” said Jackson. “But all of the girls are sweet and the team is like a big family.”
